We Desperately Need Your Help!

We Desperately Need a New Furnace! We pride ourselves on being one of our community's most valuable housing resources for mental health patients, correction referrals, and veterans. Not only that, our home built in 1891 by John W. Taylor boasts a rich heritage. But, we desperately need your help.

Our decades-old third floor furnace that heats the top two floors died at the end of this past spring. We need a new 100,000 BTU furnace with at least a 90% efficiency rating as soon as possible. If you or someone you know could donate such a furnace to us or the funds we need to buy one in exchange for a 100% tax-deductible receipt, please contact us. We hope someone will appreciate the service we provide to our community enough to help us out with this.

We're featured in the May 9 issue of The Salt Lake Tribune and April 24 issue of the South Salt Lake Journal! Check out the articles on our News page. The Salt Lake Tribune will feature us on Friday, May 9! We need your help! We're housing more men now than we have in years, and our finances are severely stretched. Please make your tax-deductible donation today. All donations to The John Taylor House are tax-deductible. Please see our Make a Donation page today ... and help us help those who need us most.
